Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Tardis LLC ("we", "us"), the company that operates Volum'Ads (the "Service", available at volumads.com and app.volumads.com), collects, uses, stores and deletes information when you use the Service.

1. What Volum'Ads does

Volum'Ads is a tool that lets advertisers create and launch Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads, campaigns and ad sets in bulk, in the ad accounts they choose to connect. It acts only on your instructions and only on the assets you authorize.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your email address, first name and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name and Google account identifier. We never receive your Google password.
Meta (Facebook) data: when you click "Connect my Facebook", Meta gives us an access token for the Business Managers, ad accounts, Pages, Instagram accounts, pixels and catalogs you select. We use it to read the names and identifiers of those assets, the campaigns, ad sets and ads in your ad accounts, the targeting options you search for, and to create the ads, campaigns, ad sets and custom audiences you ask us to create.
Ad performance data: in the Media Buying section, we read the statistics Meta reports for your campaigns, ad sets and ads (for example spend, impressions, clicks, frequency, purchases and purchase value, budgets and statuses) to show reports, recommendations and alerts. These statistics are kept in memory for up to 10 minutes to avoid calling Meta too often, and are not stored permanently.
Custom audiences: if you click "Create retargeting audiences", we ask Meta to create audiences in your ad account based on your Meta pixel events (site visitors, add to cart, checkout started, purchases) and on people who engaged with your Facebook Page or Instagram account. The audiences are built and stored by Meta; we only receive their name, identifier and approximate size. We never receive the list of people they contain.
AI assistant (optional): if you use "Ask your media buyer", we send your question, the previous questions and answers of the conversation, and a summary of the performance data shown on the page (campaign and ad names, figures, the targets you entered) to Anthropic to generate an answer. To use it, you provide your own Anthropic API key, which we store on our servers and never send back to your browser.
Content you provide: the images and videos you upload or import from a public Google Drive link, the ad copy, headlines, links and settings you enter, and the history of the ads you launched through the Service.
Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and error logs used to fix problems. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How we use information

To provide the Service: show your assets, create ads, campaigns, ad sets and custom audiences on your behalf, and keep a history of what was launched.
To analyze your ad performance and show reports, recommendations and alerts. Recommendations are generated automatically from your figures; changes to your ad accounts (such as pausing an ad or changing a budget) are only made when you click to confirm them.
To secure your account and prevent abuse.
To answer your support requests.

We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not access your ad accounts for any purpose other than the actions you request in the Service.

4. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers needed to run Volum'Ads:

Meta Platforms, to perform the actions you request in your ad accounts;
Google, if you choose to sign in with Google;
Anthropic, PBC, only if you use the AI assistant, to generate its answers. Anthropic processes this data under its commercial terms, which do not allow it to use data sent through its API to train its models;
Hetzner Online GmbH, our hosting provider, whose servers are located in the European Union;
IONOS, our email provider, for support emails;
a payment processor (such as Stripe), if you subscribe to a paid plan. We never store your full card number.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

5. Storage and security

Your data is stored on servers in the European Union. Meta access tokens and Anthropic API keys are kept on our servers only and are never sent to your browser. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Each customer's data is kept in a separate, isolated space. Connections to the Service are encrypted with HTTPS.

6. Retention

We keep your information while your account is active. Creatives you delete in the Service are deleted from our servers. When you delete your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, invoices).

7. How to delete your data

You can ask us to delete all data associated with your account at any time:

Send an email to support@volumads.com from the email address of your Volum'Ads account, with the subject "Delete my data". We confirm the deletion within 30 days.
To revoke Volum'Ads' access to your Meta assets immediately, go to Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, select Volum'Ads and click Remove. You can also remove it from your Business Manager settings. Once removed, our access tokens stop working and we can no longer access your assets.
To revoke Google sign-in, go to your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access and remove Volum'Ads.
To stop sending data to Anthropic, stop using the AI assistant and remove your API key from the Media Buying section, or revoke the key in your Anthropic console. Custom audiences created for you stay in your Meta ad account until you delete them there.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR and the California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@volumads.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Google user data

Volum'Ads' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use your Google email, name and account identifier to create and sign you into your Volum'Ads account.

10. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and notify you by email of any significant change.
